Say YES! to Everything

Person writing on a clipboard in a cozy room with plants and soft lighting.

Say YES to yourself and good things will happen. Saying yes to yourself will lead to positive outcomes. Saying YES to yourself will open opportunities that you never knew existed. Grant Cardone says that he says yes to everything. He says yes to his family, to business meetings, to upcoming projects. Grant says yes to everything and then figures out the details later.

One of my clients finally started saying yes to himself and they have unlocked an entire new world. They said yes to working out, which has led them to feeling better. By saying yes to working out, they are no longer eating junk food as they do not want to wreck their workouts and they are feeling even better about themselves and gaining confidence they didn’t know they had.

They said yes to going out on the weekends, which has led to them making new friends. These new friends asked them to join a billiards league where they learned that they like to shoot pool. They now go to the pool hall during the week where they have met even more people that have invited them out for happy hour.

The client said yes to taking walks every day and has met so many new people. The client now never says no to invites even if they do not want to go. They have found that saying yes has led them to so many new and great things. They even say yes now to trying new foods and meals and recently discovered that they like sushi and it “isn’t as bad as it looks”.

Saying YES at work to a project leads to working with new people that may not know your name. Saying yes allows you to learn something new or maybe be in a position to each someone else something new. Absolutely saying yes to everyone and everything is uncomfortable. That’s the point. Where do you learn the most, outside of your comfort zone. It is scary, absolutely! But looking back, what were you afraid of then that you do every day without hesitation today?

Give up the control. Feel the adrenaline rush. Put the effort in and you will be amazed by the outcome that will happen. So, what if you say yes and you fail. Did you learn from it? What other positives came from saying yes? And as I always say, “Did You Die!” from saying yes?

By saying YES, you are going to discover so many strengths that you have that you didn’t even know about. You are going to discover things about yourself that you didn’t even know existed. You are going to have so many eye-opening exhilarating good things happen to you when you say yes to yourself.

You are not going to love everything that you say yes to, but you needed to say yes to figure out that you didn’t like it. By saying YES, there are going to be a lot more things that you did like than you didn’t. By saying YES, you are going to cross paths with so many more people that you would have by staying home and by saying the other two letter word (no). Saying YES is going to lead you to being happier, experiencing new things and being pleased with yourself for putting yourself out there. You never know till you try, so say YES! To everything. What do you have to lose……
